Mounting -------- In order to prove the shock protection ability, design the cabinet of a system as described in below. - Fix the drive with four screws by using the proper 4 screw holes (total of 8 holes) of the drive. - The insertion depth of the mounting screws below the drive surfaces must be less than 3.5mm (0.14inch) for side holes 5 mm (0.2 inch) for bottom holes Sequential Activation of Motors ------------------------------- When multiple disk drives are connected and turned on simultaneously, a large amount of current will flow. It is recommended to turn the motors on one by one at an interval of approx. 35 seconds. Indication of "READY" on the last drive reports that all drives have been activated.
